Rest In Peace

With a heavy heart I am writing to share the sad news of Troy’s passing last night, Wednesday July 7th around 7:00pm.  He was 36 years old.

His battle with melanoma cancer ended almost 6 months to the day of his diagnosis.  Troy had developed breathing complications last night (July 6th) and was taken  from his home by ambulance to Parker Adventist Hospital. Doctors confirmed a diagnosis of pneumonia and yesterday he was moved to Denver Hospice Care Center to try and ease his many symptoms.  The Cancer had spread and was unresponsive to any treatment causing many complications.

Courtney and Morgan along with his family were by his side at the time of his death.  He suffered tremendously in the recent weeks and now we can take solace in the knowledge that he is finally at peace.

He fought this horrible disease at very step but ultimately it was not in gods plans for him to survive this.  He is survived by his wife Courtney, 8 year old daughter Morgan who was the light of his life, parents Brian and Sadie, brother Craig and step sister Shanna.  He was a wonderful father, husband and friend and will be greatly missed.

Services are currently in the planning stages but are tentatively set for Saturday, July 10th in the Highlands Ranch, Colorado area.  More details to follow.

Please continue to keep the family in your prayers.
