We would like to thank everyone who attended the benefit for Troy and his family on Sunday, March 14th 2010. The overwhelming love, support and generosity shown was more than we could have ever imagined!

We would also like to say a special thank you to Ashley Paulsen, her army of wonderful helpers, the staff and ownership of the Tailgate Tavern and to all those who donated. Because of your tireless efforts the benefit was an monumental success and meant the world to Troy, Courtney and Morgan.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank those who made cash donations and purchased support t-shirts through this web site.

Benefit update

It looks like Troy will not be able to attend his benefit today as he is not feeling well and is still admitted at Sky Ridge Medical Center where he has been since Friday. He is experiencing stomach pain and trouble breathing due to the chemotherapy and follow up treatment he received last week. He and his family would like to thank everyone for all of the support, love and prayers.

The benefit to help raise money for Troy and his family as well as increase awareness about the danger of Melanoma is this Sunday, March 14th. There will be food & drink, live music and many great auction and raffle items available. Please stop by and show your support for this very worthwhile cause! The shirts are ready for delivery. Show your support. A special thanks to UBADGE for making the shirts and offering up a MC/VISA option for those that want a shirt.

UBADGE will also be at the benefit event on March 14th making shirts on site. $7 of each shirt sold goes directly to Troy’s family.

A Day to Give

Troy was diagnosed with Melanoma stage 4 on January 8th, 2010 and is currently undergoing Chemotherapy. As the family is staying positive, it is still a very unsettling time. As you can imagine the financial and emotional burden on the family is extremely heavy. Because of this we have decided to ask all of our friends, and residents of Parker to attend the benefit in honor of Troy Murray and Family.
